Chris turned the big 30 on april 9th.
The night before his big day we surprised him with his first gift, a 1 hour flight lesson with Louisville Aviation.
He was pumped.

When he got in the plane he sat in the pilot's seat. Um...excuse me? I was about to throw up with nervousness. Did I really buy my husband a gift that included him being 10,000 feet in the air in a tiny plane?!? From that point I calmed my nerves with donuts.

Pics from inside the hanger. Can you see in this image on the right where someone had written "going down" in green marker on the wall. Seriously? Must be some sort of "pilot humor." I don't think it's funny.

Eating donuts while daddy was flying. We ate A LOT.

We also spent our time walking around and collecting flowers. I noticed two security cars pull up and watch us for the entire hour chris was in the air. Apparently a mom with 2 kids, a camera, and donuts in her hand is a security threat. Who knew.

Chris took off, landed, and flew almost the entire time. I guess they made a stop in Indiana too. Can't believe he did that!

Look at that smile. He was a happy birthday boy!
